Microsoft Announced Kinect Bundle for Xbox 360 250GB SKU for North America & UK

Microsoft have announced the Xbox 360 Kinect bundle for the North American market. No, not the Arcade bundle with the 4GB Xbox 360 console, but the standard Xbox 360 with a 250GB hard drive. The North America bundle will come with the standard Xbox 360 package (the one with the glossy finish), 250GB hard drive, a Kinect camera and a copy of Kinect adventures. It'll retail for US$399 before tax.

We know that our own Microsoft team here in Singapore have already announced the Xbox 360 4GB Kinect bundle priced at S$469. Now after doing a little currency conversion, the North America Kinect bundle will come up to between S$535-$560 (taking the low-end rate of US$1.34 to US$1.40) and it will seem like a pretty sensible idea to hold on to that new Xbox 360 S console purchase, which costs S$499, and wait for the Kinect bundle.

The big money question is, will Microsoft launch a similar Xbox 360 250GB with the Kinect camera bundle here?

Mario turns 25. Wa-hoo!

Twenty-five years ago, the Mushroom Kingdom hired a rookie plumber. His first task was to investigate a overgrown monkey who held a lady hostage in a barrel factory. Well, okay. Not quite. Although Jumpman changed his name to Mario, his history didn't really begin until the conception of Super Mario Bros, the version of which we know and love today.

The Original Super Mario Bros. platformer for the Nintendo Entertainment System arrived for the home console on September 13th, 1985, spawning many sequels and spin-offs thereafter, and he's been brutally squashing goombas and eating magic mushrooms since.

What was your first Mario Memory?

(To those of you with no idea who or what Mario is about (seriously?), head after the jump for a short clip.)
