The fourth batch of game demos and prototypes are up and running on the Singapore-MIT GAMBIT website. Students from the ten-week internship program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, have returned home with their experiences and their newborn games.

This Thursday marks yet another Comex exhibition in Singapore, and Microsoft is coming stocked with special offers and freebies, such as mice, webcams and other peripherals. EA Singapore is inviting you for an early preview on their upcoming blockbuster games for 2010. The exclusive play-preview includes (but not limited to) Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, the console versions for The Sims 3, Dead Space 2 and FIFA 11.

It all goes down for three hours, 1pm to 4pm, on Friday, 10th September 2010 at the National Museum of Singapore Gallery Theatre at Basement 1. Registration/reservation required, and hurry, because there are already Facebook likes on the page!

EA Game Showcase '10 [EA Singapore]

Ian Pang, a homegrown game developer from LucasArts and part of the development team behind the upcoming Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2, was back in town recently. We took the opportunity to have a quick chat with him on the game's progress, and some of the lessons learnt since the original game. Hit the jump for the full interview.

It looks like Rockstar Games' crime thriller LA Noire won't make its 2010 release date. An analyst told Gamespot Australia that retail sources are speculating a release date around Q4 2010 to Late 2011.

Oh please make that film already!
